In order to prevent malicious activities, one hour prior to BraveCoin global announcement, we made a snapshot of all stellar accounts holding Brave Tokens. This snapshot defines which accounts are eligible and the maximum amount of Brave Tokens that can be converted into Bravecoins , benefiting from our 10% promotion. Brave Token purchases after the snapshot are not eligible for the migration, although they can still be traded for Bravecoins once the migration window is over.

Although the process is irreversible, after the migration window is over you will be able to trade the Brave Token - BraveCoin pair as with any other coin.

Your Brave Tokens in the Liquidity pools are accounted in the snapshot. You can withdraw them from the Pools and use the migration tool to convert them into Bravecoins.

Staking amounts are not accounted in the snapshot and they cannot be converted using the migration tool. Nonetheless, you will be able to trade them for Bravecoins in the end of the migration window.

You will continue trading them, add them to liquidity pools, receive your VIP or Staking rewards….as usual. Nonetheless, all marketing and development activities will be discontinued and Brave Tokens will not have any role in BravePay ecosystem. Brave Token will remain a rewards token with no actual use case in BravePay.

Brave Token VIP accounts are automatically flagged as BraveCoin VIPs. Although VIP rewards are discontinued in BraveCoin, new benefits will be accessible to BraveCoin VIP holders.

Staking amounts before Apr 10 2022 are accounted in the snapshot. Although Brave Tokens in staking cannot be converted using the migration tool, you will be able to migrate them in the end of the staking period if that is your choice. Simply select the “convert to BRC” functionality in staking.bravepay.net and follow the instructions on the screen. Same as with our migration tool, your converted tokens will be burnt and you will receive 2 claimable balances, one for the principal and staking yield and another for the 10% bonus. Conversion rate applied will be exactly the same as in the conversion window (1 Brave Token = 0.0013 BRC).
